Our Staff

Christine Tarallo

Regional Director/General Manager

Prime Time has been a career for me since I started as an assistant 2 year old teacher at our Edgewater location in May, 1996.  I then moved up the ladder becoming a lead teacher, program supervisor, assistant director and finally center director in 1998.  I held that position for 7 years!! In 2005, I was promoted to the regional director, a position I still hold today.  As the regional director/general manager, I am responsible for overseeing the day to day operations of the company.  I work closely with each center management team and the owners of the company.  Being a family owned company, Prime Time makes me and everyone feel part of a “special family.”  Both of my children are “graduates” of Prime Time – with my son Michael graduating from our Mahwah location and my daughter Angela graduating from Edgewater. As for my background – I graduated from Pace University with a BA and have taken several Masters Level Courses in Early Childhood Administration.  I have also worked for a large child care chain as a center director and regional mentor.  I am truly honored to be part of this wonderful company.

Nancy Nathanson

Regional Education Director

It is my job to set developmentally appropriate curriculum and ensure that educational goals for all centers are met.  I also oversee each site’s education directors and train teachers through in-house workshops and staff meetings.  Communicating the behavioral and special needs of students to their families is an integral part of my job description.

The early childhood field is truly my passion! I have worked in the educational field for over 16 years as a teacher and Director of a nationally accredited program.  My professional experience includes being an early childhood consultant in Ct. and NJ, a CDA advisor, CITE (coalition for infant-toddler education) and NAEYC (national association for the education of young children) member and an elementary and remedial reading teacher in the public school system. In addition, I have been trained by the West Ed. Program with ITERS (infant toddler environmental rating scale) and trans-disciplinary play-based assessment.

Working at Prime Time has been an exciting and rewarding challenge for me.  It is my sincere goal to make quality care and learning happen by building a  responsive, respectful relationship with our children and families.

Melissa Daidone

Assistant Regional Director/Acting Director Prime Time of Mahwah

I began my Prime Time career in July of 2008 at our Hoboken location. I quickly advanced from a Lead Infant teacher to Parent/Teacher coordinator to ultimately Assistant Director of Hoboken. I came to Prime Time with over 10 years hands on experience in Early Childhood Education, my associates degree in E.C.E from Union County College while still striving to complete my Bachelor’s Degree at Caldwell College. Focusing on fostering family partnerships along with marketing the Prime Time Brand, it has now allowed me to venture into a different role at Prime Time. In 2010, I began assisting the Regional Manager in marketing the schools and coordinating themed birthday parties at each location. Prime Time’s family atmosphere has encompassed my own family as well. My teenage son has worked as a Camp Counselor for the past two summers in Hoboken, my middle daughter is a full time summer camper at Hoboken every summer, and my youngest daughter attends both Hoboken/East Rutherford locations preschool program full time. It is a wonderful company to be a part of and I truly admire being a part of this team.

Eva Ramos

Center Director

Prime Time Early Learning Center – Middletown, NY

I have been with Prime Time since May 1993.  Throughout this time I have held many positions within the company.  I have been on the Regional  management level as well as Educational Supervisor.  I have always maintained my position of Center Director of our Middletown location.  I truly love my job and have been lucky over the past 4 1/2 years to be able to bring my daughter to work with me everyday.  Not only did I have the security of knowing that my daughter is in a safe and loving environment but she has also learned so much throughout her years at Prime Time.  She is more than ready to move onto Kindergarten.

I am so proud of our program.  Middletown has been open for over 19 years and throughout all of those years we have maintained an excellent repuation in our community.  I truly believe that this has been attributed to a management team who have been with the company for over 14 years together and a wonderful hardworking staff.

I feel blessed to have a career that helps make a difference in children’s lives.

Karla Alcazar

Center Director

Prime Time Early Learning Center – Paramus

My Name is Karla Alcazar and I am the Center/Education Director at the Paramus location.  I have been with Prime Time since July 2010. I am a graduate of Seton Hall University with a M.A in Education.  I also have a B.A in Psychology/Minor in Early Childhood Education from New Jersey City University and I am a NJ State certified teacher.  My passion for children came at a young age and grew as I worked with children during my high school and college years.  I have taught a variety of age groups and grades throughout my career as an educator.  As an educator my goal was to change the way children see education and to make a difference in their lives. I feel as a Director, I can still strive for that goal along with the added bonus of assisting families and staff as well. I think that we can all work together to create a strong family/school partnership with the children’s best interest as the central core.
